Wild life
Jasper National Park has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. With over 10 000 square kilometers of preserved land there are many creatures wandering around the park and surrounding trials. These could include Elk, Mountain goats, and Bears. If we come across these animals while biking we like to give them the respect and space they deserve by admiring them from afar. Elk are a common sight and can be highly aggressive animals. Our guides carry bear spray and understand the procedures necessary when encountering these animals. We expect all clients to abide by these protocols for your safety.
Trails
Jasper National Park has an extensive trail system with single track and double track cross country for every ability level. The Jasper park cycling association is our voice for mountain biking advocacy in Jasper National park.

Journey Bike Guides is currently closed due to the devastating wildfire that came through Jasper this summer. At this time we are unsure if it is possible to re-open. Our entire rental fleet of bikes was torched in the fire and there remains significant damage to our favourite trails. Please come support our community. There are many restaurants and hotels that have re-opened.
